I cannot express enough that you want Abby to be your agent. I was very reluctant of real estate professionals because of the fact that the faster you buy or sell a house the faster they make money. Abby put me at ease immediately. When we looked at homes she had great knowledge of building structure and would advise us on things to look out for in basements, neighborhoods ,ect. Clearly she had us as potential home owners in mind and wasn't just trying to get us to buy as soon as possible. She was never pushy and was always just supportive in our search for the perfect fit.

When we did find a house she became a contract writing machine. She was always responsive and timely with documents we needed to see/sign. As first time home buyers we had a ton of questions about the process and things we needed to be doing along the way, Abby was happy to explain in detail everything we were seeing or had questions about.

We did not have an agent at the time and were immediately impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable Paress was. This particular property did not work out for us but she took note of all of our must haves and not long afterwards began sending us emails of listings we might like.

After a few showings she got a good sense of what we liked and what wouldn't work out. Then came the day we found the one. She saw our immediate reaction as we entered our future dream home and guided us through the offer process. We heeded her advice and after a short bidding war with other offers our offer was accepted by the seller.

But the battle wasn't over yet. This particular property had some structural issues that needed to be addressed which she handled quite masterfully putting us in touch with a structural engineer/architect who helped us address some important issues until everything finally passed inspection and we could proceed with the closing.

Because of the current covid situation we handled the closing virtually and on the phone. Paress was again very instrumental in making this last process seamless up until the moment she handed us the keys to our dream home.

Paress' negotiating skills truly came to light as we had encountered a few stumbling blocks with the seller's agent. It was very re-assuring to have her in our corner the whole time.
