East Side

This trendy neighborhood is a melting pot of UW-Milwaukee students, young professionals, and longtime residents. If you’re looking for a night out, whether it’s dinner, drinking, or dancing, you’ll probably find yourself on the East Side. One of the city’s nightlife hubs is Brady Street, the historic home of Milwaukee’s Italian population that has only gotten more funky and fun since the hippies moved in in the 1960s. The North Avenue area is packed with restaurants, indie movie theaters, jazz clubs, and more.
